The Hotline Training webinar is designed to enhance both seasoned and new advocates' skills in identifying and assessing the needs of survivors of domestic violence on the hotline. This training will use the hotline skills wheel to review rapport, active listening, safety planning, risk assessment and the immediate needs of survivors. Advocates will be able to identify the services available at the certified domestic violence centers and develop the tools needed to respond to requests for information on community resources. To attend this training you must be an active staff or volunteer of a certified domestic violence center. Both new and seasoned advocates are encouraged to attend. Advocates should be prepared to engage with one another about their experiences on the hotline.
The Hotline Training webinar will occur from 10:30 am-12:00 pm EST. Registration link with webinar call in information will be sent via email via Readytalk.
*Please note this webinar will be recorded.
