Domestic Violence and Child Welfare Specialist

Advocacy Training and TA Coordinator
Must possess at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree and three years’ experience providing direct services to survivors of domestic violence, or high school/equivalency diploma and four years providing direct services to survivors of domestic violence. Candidate must approach the work from a trauma-informed, empowerment-based perspective. The candidate will have knowledge and experience educating individuals on the root causes of violence against women and oppressed groups; experience conducting trainings related to successful advocacy on behalf of survivors of violence, experience managing grant reports, and excellent writing and organizational skills. Director of Advocacy and Social Change Initiatives
Must possess at a minimum a Bachelor’s Degree, two years of management/supervision experience, and three years’ experience in the domestic violence movement; or a high school/equivalency diploma, four years management/supervision experience, and three years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence. Rural Initiatives Coordinator:
Must possess at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree and three years’ experience providing direct services for survivors of domestic violence (DV), or high school/equivalency diploma and four years providing direct services for survivors of domestic violence. The candidate will have knowledge of root causes of violence against women and oppressed groups, experience coordinating projects in rural and underserved communities, proven training experience, and excellent writing and organizational skills.
The Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of FCADV’s Rural Initiatives; conducts technical assistance to rural domestic violence centers; and conducts on-site, regional, and statewide trainings.
