Hotline Language Access: How to Best Serve Survivors who are Limited English Proficient Speakers using Interpreter Services Webinar August 27 2019

This webinar will focus on the skills necessary for using a language line interpreter to communicate with survivors who are seeking services on certified domestic violence center hotlines. Participants will gain a better understand how to effectively utilize interpreters through the phone and when to consider in person interpreters. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss challenges and strengths in using the language line.  Registrants must be a current employee or volunteer of a certified domestic violence center.
