Rural and Underserved Advocacy Program Specialist

Rural and Underserved Advocacy Program Specialist: possesses at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree and three years experience providing direct services for survivors of domestic violence (DV), or high school/equivalency diploma and four years providing direct services for survivors of DV. The candidate will have knowledge of root causes of violence against women and oppressed groups, experience coordinating projects in rural and underserved communities, proven training experience, and excellent writing skills.

 

The Specialist is responsible for the oversight of FCADV’s Rural Initiatives, provides technical assistance to rural domestic violence centers, and conducts on-site, regional, and statewide trainings. This job is based in Tallahassee, Florida and requires extensive in-state and limited national travel.
