Prevention Specialist

Prevention Specialist: possesses at minimum two years of experience in direct service with survivors of domestic violence or coordination of violence prevention programming. The candidate will have knowledge of root causes of violence against women and oppressed groups, knowledge of the risk and protective factors for the perpetration of domestic violence, experience in mobilizing communities for social change, proven training experience, and excellent writing and organizational skills.

The Specialist is responsible for coordinating and implementing various primary prevention strategies on the local and state levels related to policy change, engaging men in violence prevention, community action, and youth leadership, as well as project management and planning.

This job is based in Tallahassee, Florida and requires extensive in-state and limited national travel.
