Economic Empowerment Program Specialist FCADV

Economic Empowerment Program Specialist manages the Coalition’s Statewide Economic Empowerment Initiatives and works extensively with local certified domestic violence centers and allied partners to implement these exciting and innovative programs. The Specialist possesses at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree and three years of experience providing direct services for survivors of domestic violence (DV), or a high school/equivalency diploma and four years direct service experience or coordination of economic empowerment programming. The candidate will have knowledge of root causes of violence against women and oppressed groups, knowledge of the risk and protective factors for the perpetration of DV, experience in mobilizing communities for social change, proven training experience, and excellent writing and organizational skills. This job requires extensive in-state and limited national travel.
