The position involves:
Monitoring the programmatic, fiscal and/or administrative operations of Florida’s certified domestic violence centers and other victim service providers for compliance with empowerment-based advocacy principals, state and federal laws and regulations, and contract provisions.
The position duties include, but are not limited to:
Reviewing compliance with guiding authorities through file reviews, interviews, and observations; completing monitoring tools; writing monitoring reports; proposing corrective action steps, as necessary; and providing technical assistance to domestic violence center staff when necessary.
The candidate must have a solid understanding of domestic violence dynamics and empowerment-based advocacy, accounting practices and quality assurance principals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
It is preferred that the candidate have an Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college, university, or technical school; one to two years of related domestic violence and quality assurance experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
This job is based in Tallahassee, Florida, and requires extensive in-state travel.
