CPI Project New Advocate Training May 21 - 23 2019

The Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence will host a three-day New Advocate Training for newer CPI Project Co-Located Advocates. The purpose of this training is to enhance newer co-located advocates’ understanding of the CPI Project and the child welfare system, the philosophy behind Empowerment-Based Advocacy, and the goals of systemic and institutional change. This training is open to co-located advocates only and is mandatory for co-located advocates that have been in their position for a year or less and/or have not previously attended a CPI Project New Advocate Training in the past.
