Seeking Safety: A Model For Trauma and, or Substance Abuse - Orlando May 21 2018

The goal of this 1.5-day training is to describe Seeking Safety, an evidence-based treatment model for trauma and/or substance abuse. Seeking Safety certified trainers will present background information on trauma and substance abuse and implementation of Seeking Safety. An overview of the model’s application to working with survivors of trauma and domestic violence will be discussed. Assessment tools and treatment resources will be reviewed

The event is of free of charge and open to advocates, mental health professionals, and community partners. Limited travel scholarships are available to training attendees who travel over 50 miles. 8.5 CEU’s for LCSW, LMFT, and LMHC. Cost for CEU’s $40.00. The location of the event is Renaissance Orlando at Sea World, 6677 Sea Harbor Drive, Orlando, FL 32821. Sleeping Room rate:$121.00
