FCADV Lending Library
The FCADV Lending Library has resources on domestic violence issues of interest to everyone. Resources include videos, books, and articles, on a wide variety of issues related to domestic violence, including teen dating violence, elder abuse, the effects of domestic violence on children, and more.
Who Can Borrow from the FCADV Library
Materials may only be checked out by an employee or volunteer of one of Florida's 42 Certified Domestic Violence Centers, the Florida Department of Children and Families, or another organization that is contractually partnered with FCADV. Materials may be checked out for two weeks. Lending requests will not be processed if there are overdue library materials, or unpaid replacement fees.
Please Note
Because some library materials have either been lost or not returned by borrowers of materials, FCADV has implemented Lending Order Forms and Lending Library Agreements, in which no material (whether audio/visual or printed) will be loaned out without a photocopy of the borrower's credit card (Mastercard or Visa) and signed Library Order Form accompanying the photocopy.
If library materials are lost, the borrowing individual is responsible for the cost of replacement of the materials. The individual's credit card will be billed.
Contact FCADV with inquiries about our Library collection by calling (850)425-2749 or 1-800-500-1119.
