FY 2010/2011 Contract Management and Incident Reporting Training
FCADV conducted a contract management and incident reporting training on March 24, 2010 in Tampa, FL. The purpose of the training was to provide updates on the upcoming contract deliverables requirements due in the 4th quarter of this current fiscal year (2009-2010) as well as providing an interactive session regarding reportable conditions under the FCADV incident reporting procedures. Other items discussed included new requirements under the ADA Compliance for Support of the Deaf and Hard-of Hearing.

FY 2009/2010 Alice Updates and Reporting
FCADV conducted an Alice webinar training on September 16, 2009. The purpose of the training was to provide updates on the domestic violence services definitions as well as to provide training on the new Alice reporting.

FY 2009/2010 ARRA Overview and Reporting
FCADV conducted an ARRA overview and reporting webinar on September 16, 2009. The purpose of the training was to discuss and provide technical assistance on the requirements under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding. The training also focused on compliance with ARRA, reporting, and calculating job data.

FY 2009/2010 QA Contracts and Budget Overview
FCADV hosted a Contracts and Budget Overview training during August 24-26, 2009 as a jump start to this fiscal year. Certified Domestic Violence Centers receiving federal or federal pass through funding are subject to varies federal and state rules and regulations including those contained in the Federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circulars. This training focused on updating center staff on contract requirements and compliance and included but was not limited to the following topics:

- Monthly Deliverables
- Quarterly Deliverables
- Incident Reporting
- Budget Amendments

Advancing Accountability
Best Practices for Contract & Grant Management
This training program was developed to help non-state entities perform and document program and fiscal requirements of their projects in a manner that ensures accountability over state resources and prevent delays in payments.
Cost Allocation Plan Training
FCADV hosted a fiscal training by Troy Tangen of Maximus, Inc. in Orlando on March 21, 2008. Agencies receiving federal or federal pass through funding are subject to the cost principles contained in the Federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-122 and Cost Principles for Non-Profit Organizations. This training focused on updating center staff on cost allocation principles, strategies, requirements and benefits. The training included matters pertinent and relevant to the fiduciary and monitoring responsibilities. The training included, but was not be limited to the following:
- Cost Allocation Overview
- OMB Circular A-122
- Allowable costs/Cost Principles
- Allowed or Unallowed Activities
- Reporting of Time and Effort of Staff
- Indirect Cost Rates
