Contract Monitoring

Pursuant to Florida Statute 39.903, the Florida Department of Children and Families contracted with the FCADV to implement, administer, and evaluate all services provided by the certified domestic violence centers statewide. FCADV is also required to perform monitoring activities on all providers who receive at least $25,000.00 or more in funding per fiscal year.

Monitoring Schedule

FCADV is required to monitor 100% of the certified domestic violence centers and other service providers who FCADV contracts with in excess of $25,000.00 per fiscal year. This monitoring may be done on-site or through a desk review based on a risk assessment. Regardless of the risk assessment, a center/provider shall be monitored on-site at least once every three years. This calendar is subject to change throughout the fiscal year as revisions are deemed necessary. Centers/providers shall be notified in writing at least 45 days prior to a scheduled monitoring.
