• ADA Checklist for Existing Facilities (PDF)
  Services should be equally accessible to participants with a disability as defined by Title III, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This ADA Readily Achievable Barrier Removal Checklist should be used by existing shelters to determine barriers to services. The tool will allow you to identify simple changes that could be made to allow services to be accessible to participants with a disability.

  This user guide is designed by DFS to provide guidance related to key elements of contract and grant management to state agencies and providers. Implementation of these guidelines will help facilitate programmatic and fiscal accountability. These guidelines apply to all forms of agreements, e.g. contract, grant, purchase order, memorandum of understanding, etc.
