Prosecutions of perpetrators of domestic violence, when the victim is an immigrant, present unique challenges. This one day seminar for prosecutors and investigators is designed to enhance the development of linguistically and culturally sensitive victim response and provide prosecutors and investigators with information on the unique barriers experienced by domestic violence victims, rights and remedies, batterer tactics, and will explore the complex issues faced in balancing offender accountability and the impact of criminal prosecution of victims. Cancellation Policy

Requests for cancellation must be in writing and received no later than two weeks prior to the start of the event. Requests after this date will not be considered. A processing fee will be deducted for each request for cancellation. Substitutes are permitted with prior notification in writing. The Coalition reserves the right to process all requests for refunds after the conference concludes.
