The Florida Domestic Violence Hotline is a free, 24-hour crisis intervention and resource line for domestic violence survivors, friends and family of survivors and community partners. Advocates connect callers with their local certified center, provide immediate crisis support, safety plan with survivors, and provide information about domestic violence to friends and family of survivors of domestic violence.

The Hotline is a trilingual service. Callers may choose one of the following prompts:

English - Prompt Two (2)
Spanish - Prompt One (1)
Creole - Prompt Four (4)

The Florida Domestic Violence Hotline and the certified domestic violence centers connect with interpretive services for additional language services. Survivors may also connect to the Legal Hotline by choosing prompt three (3).

Legal Hotline - Prompt Three (3)
The Legal Hotline’s hours are 8:00 am-4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The Legal Hotline is a non-crisis hotline for survivors of domestic violence in need of legal information. A legal intake specialist will speak with callers prior to working with an attorney. If a legal intake specialist is unavailable, the caller will be directed to leave a message. An intake specialist will return their call within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Attorneys are unable to provide in-person legal representation. For more information regarding what legal representation is available to survivors of domestic violence in your area, please contact the local certified domestic violence center.
