The regional training is the perfect opportunity for advocates to develop or enhance skills related to hotline best practices. Advocates will learn active listening practies, interviewing and assessment skills, and how to utilize empowerment based advocacy on the hotline. Advocates will have an opportunity to participate in role plays and learning exchanges in order to develop additional skills in addressing complex calls.

All certified center domestic violence advocates are welcome to attend.

Cancellation Policy

Requests for cancellation must be in writing and received no later than two weeks prior to the start of the event. Requests after this date will not be considered. A processing fee will be deducted for each request for cancellation. Substitutes are permitted with prior notification in writing. The Coalition reserves the right to process all requests for refunds after the conference concludes.
