Economic Empowerment: Train the Trainer for Advocates

This one-day training will provide Advocates with strategies, skills and hands-on experience using the revised Allstate Foundation Moving Ahead Through Financial Management curriculum. The training provides a comprehensive approach to assisting survivors who are struggling to gain financial stability.  It will address debt and credit issues, budgeting and creating spending plans and building partnerships with local resources.   

Each participant will receive a copies of the Allstate curriculum Trainer and Participant Guides in English and Spanish, the Beat Debt Game, In Her Shoes, Economic Justice Edition, two sets of the Prioritize Your Bills exercise in English and Spanish, two copies of Consumer Rights for DV Survivors and other materials to support your economic empowerment work with survivors.

Cancellation Policy

Requests for cancellation must be in writing and received no later than two weeks prior to the start of the event. Requests after this date will not be considered. A processing fee will be deducted for each request for cancellation. Substitutes are permitted with prior notification in writing. The Coalition reserves the right to process all requests for refunds after the conference concludes.
