Child Care Center Supervisor
The Spring of Tampa Bay, Inc. Hillsborough County
Coordinates the overall operations of the Childcare Center. Instructs preschool children in age-appropriate activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Develops curriculum and lesson plans for each age group. Maintains day care records and related paperwork. Provides direction and training to new day care teachers.
Qualifications:
Florida Director Credential with a minimum of two (2) years
experience as an on-site child care director. Requires
completion of 30 hour Childcare training course, CPR and
first aid.

Executive Director Position Available
For Certified Domestic/Sexual Abuse Center
Executive Director (ED) position available for Betty Griffin House, the certified crisis center serving victims of domestic and sexual abuse in St. Johns County, NE Florida. Position reports to the Board of Directors and will be available on, or about, 8/1/2008.

The ED is responsible for the complete operation of the corporation that includes financial management, counseling/advocacy supervision, personnel, budgeting, community liaison, marketing, public relations, resource development, and management of all program services. The ED is also responsible for program services and accounting compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Also responsible for compliance with Florida certified domestic violence and sexual assault center requirements and standards.
Masters Degree preferred in social science, public administration, or related area. Professional training and/or experience may substitute for academic education.
Management, business, public speaking, writing, grant writing, accounting and counseling experience preferred. Specific experience should include work in a social service organization, crisis intervention, domestic/sexual abuse setting, community collaboration, and coalition-building.
Candidate should possess a thorough understanding and commitment to the following: social change and advocacy related to domestic and sexual abuse; violence against women, men, and children; and the dynamics of domestic and sexual abuse.
Salary commensurate with education and/or experience.
